The mission of Contrel is to become a leader in the development and marketing of unique intrauterine drug delivery systems ("IUSs") and transmit its practical experience in this field to health care providers.  The development of better and healthier methods for easy insertion of the IUD/IUS in the office, requiring a minimum of training, is an important aspect of this mission.

Contrel aims to improve women’s quality of life from fertility to menopause by providing better contraceptives, reversible alternatives to female sterilisation and intrauterine treatment of menstrual disturbances and conditions surrounding menopause and peri-menopause through hormone replacement therapy (HRT).
